Advanced state of shock...

Since the death of Nigeria’s First Lady, Stella Obasanjo, was announced early this morning, rumors have been rife as to the cause of her death. She died at about 02: 35 AM, Nigeria time. An Elendureports.com investigation can now confirm that Stella Obasanjo died due to complications arising from plastic surgery.

Dr. Roger E. Amar had been rumored to be the surgeon who performed the ill-fated surgery. In a letter to Elendureports.com, Agathe Dawson speaking on behalf of Dr. Roger E. Amar of Fat Autograft Muscle Injection (FAMI), said: “We would like to make it very clear that these events (First Lady’s death) were due in no part to Dr. Roger E. Amar and the FAMI Academy, or to any of his clinics.” While consoling President Obasanjo and the Nigerian people on Stella Obasanjo’s death, Dr. Amar said that it was his hope and those in the plastic surgery community that “through continued education and the enforcement of ever more stringent regulations the inherent risks of surgery no longer lead to the loss of any precious life.”

Stella Obasanjo, who would have turned 60 on November 14th, was put under an operation in the clinic of aesthetic surgery, Molding Clinic, located near Banús Port, Spain. The surgery did not go as planned as complications arose. Stella Obasanjo was said to have entered an “advanced state of shock.” She was then transferred to the USP Hospital of Marbella. According to our sources, doctors at the hospital tried to resuscitate her from coma but were unsuccessful.

President Obasanjo and Stella had been in Spain last September for a State Visit. Her death is currently being investigated by a Magistrate from Court 2 in Marbella, Spain. Judicial sources said an autopsy will be carried out tomorrow to determine the First Lady’s cause of death. The autopsy will be performed at the Legal Institute of Malaga.
