My name is Uloma Umeano. I currently work as Head of Communications, British Council Nigeria. In my several years of career development, I have seen myself in various aspects of Marketing Communications. Prior to this I was General Manager, Tequila Nigeria Limited, a Direct Marketing company. “There is a very fine line between communications in marketing and the things I love about the Literal Arts. Several aspects come to mind; the role playing, the heady timelines, the crafting of the most effective words and the translation of ideas and gut feelings into visual communications”. I love to read. I love to write. I have very strong, often very emotional feelings about many aspects of life and I find that writing often offers the catharsis I need at such times. I am a mother of three adorable sons and a graduate of Dramatic Arts from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
