Segun Oguntola

Ségun Ògúntólá lives in New York City. His work has been published in the United States in journals and magazines including Ictus Review, QBR the Black Book Review and The African. His debut novel is forthcoming. He is currently working on his second novel, and editing his ongoing manuscript: In Celebration Of All That Burdens Us: Poems, Essays, Notes & Notations, Vignettes and Stories. He believes Literature yearns to sing to us anew on Existence, our unsettling personal and societal concerns, soothe our aches, celebrate our life in all its manifold complexities, counsel and give us hope, impart knowledge. Wisely, Literature aims to do so by creating a tranquil psychical space for us in thoughtful, novel books in which, in solitude, it can engross us in thought on Existence. He strives to be a conduit for Literature in its noble endeavor.
